Whenever you are brewing tea, it’s important to think about the water you are using. If you are using unpleasant tasting water, your tea is going to reflect that taste. If you wouldn’t drink your tap water, why would you want to use it for your tea? Use water that has a relatively neutral pH and a balance of minerals. The best water to use when making tea is filtered water. An at home filter like a Britta or PUR will be just fine. Spring water is another great option.
