HIBERNATE IMMUNITY TONIC doesn’t just have to be brewed into a tea. We turned it into a medicinal syrup, which is fun to make, delicious, and effective! Sip it throughout the day on its own, mix it into seltzer for a tasty drink, or pour it over pancakes or french toast. As they say, “a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down!” Learn how below.
Decide how much you want to make. You use 2 ounces of herb/ herb mixture for every quart of water. I used the full 2 ounces. Makes plenty.
How to make:
🌼 First pour the water into a pot on the stove and mix in the package of Hibernate. Set the pot on low and bring to a simmer, cover the pot partially and simmer the liquid down to about half the original volume.
🌼Strain the herbs from the liquid and add 1 cup of honey.
🌼Warm the mixture over low heat, stirring well until the honey and tea have completely mixed. If you would like a thicker syrup (maybe for pancakes or french toast?? 😋) cook for 20 to 30 min over high heat.
🌼Pour in glass containers and store in the fridge (or give as gifts). Will last for 2 weeks.
